Responsibilities
Lead enterprise application migrations to AWS Outposts, defining migration patterns, blueprints, and reference architectures in partnership with AWS teams
Drive modernization through GenAI-based code compilation, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation), and automation for provisioning, scaling, and patching
Own cloud architecture decisions by selecting appropriate services, components, and design patterns that meet business, security, and technical requirements
Serve as the primary technical authority, leading cross-functional design discussions, guiding teams through the full project lifecycle, and acting as the escalation point for complex architecture issues
Establish and enforce governance, observability, performance, and cost-optimization practices, while mentoring teams and driving continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
Deep understanding of AWS architecture, including hands-on experience with AWS Outposts deployments
AWS Architect Certification (e.g., Solutions Architect)
12+ years of experience designing and developing J2EE-based applications in large enterprise environments
Proven experience working with large-scale, complex legacy systems across multiple technology stacks, including Java and C++
Proven experience leading and executing application migrations using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks
Demonstrated hands-on expertise in designing and developing GenAI-enabled automation and tooling to support rapid, large-scale migrations
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex issues and drive effective solutions
