Responsibilities

Develop advanced knowledge on the Enterprise Data Management Operating Policy in order to effectively executing and complying with the policy requirements
Build advanced platform expertise to influence the identification of critical data elements and contribute to the roadmap to govern the data elements
Perform holistic platform data quality monitoring, including but not limited to key reports
Define, Test, Deploy and Enhance the data risk management controls
Identify data incidents, performing root-cause-analysis of data incidents and driving remediation of audit and regulatory feedback
Coordinate with Business Units and other Business Unit Data Offices to ensure System level Lineage is documented completely and accurately
Collaborate with and influence product managers to ensure all new use cases are managed according to policy

Required

5+ years of work experience relating to data governance and/or data management programs
Experience in Data Management and Governance concepts (metadata, lineage, data quality, etc.)
Proficient in SQL & Python or other programming language
Ability to understand business challenges and strategies and translating those to relevant data governance and management requirements to improve compliance and efficiency
Skilled in developing clear and structured documentation
Strong communication skills and ability to influence and engage at multiple levels and cross functionally
Willingness to test, learn, fail and improve
Prior experience with Agile or SAFe project methodologies
Bachelor's degree in finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or other similar fields
