Responsibilities

Design & develop high-quality solutions for risk management of lending products
Drive continuous improvement on process, tools and techniques
Solve complex problems and deliver effective, practical solutions
Support the day-to-day stability of the platforms you develop, prioritize and manage incidents
Automate delivery pipelines, so that systems are always ready to deploy
Seek ways to improve your application’s performance and code quality, ensuring architecture supports business requirements

Qualification

Oracle PL/SQLJavaSpringJavaScriptTest automationSDLC toolsTest-driven developmentClean code principlesCommunication skills

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
Extensive knowledge of Oracle PL/ Structured Query Language (SQL), Java, Spring
Exposure to front-end technologies such as JavaScript and test automation using Cucumber or similar
Experienced developer in complex, business-facing applications
Ability to deal with a monolithic application and help to develop a vision on how to decouple it gradually rather than rewriting the application from scratch
Solid understanding of the modern software development life cycle (SDLC) tool stack, including Bitbucket, Jira, Artifactory, TeamCity, and similar platforms

Preferred

A commitment to quality applying practices such as test-driven development
Experience of using test containers, using shift-left DevOps
Pragmatic mindset driving quicker time to market and early user feedback
Promoting clean code principles to enable sustainable production solutions
Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
