Responsibilities
Maintains overall environment (e.g. empties trash, cleans spills, removes soiled linens) on a continuous basis
Demonstrates an understanding of infection control standards and the knowledge of general cleaning principles according to hospital policy
Performs daily re-stocking of designated supply areas including linen, fluid warmers. etc
Delivers specimens, blood products, etc
Obtains additional supplies and equipment for the nursing staff as needed
Safely transfers patients to and from in the Operating Room
Additional duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Minimum Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent
Years of Experience: No experience required
Certification: Basic Life Support via AHA within 3 months
