Responsibilities
Lead and review projects to ensure model accuracy and reasonable analysis
Provide expert analysis utilizing various accounting methods, including Discounted Cash Flow, Guideline Public Comparable Companies, Guideline M&A Transaction Multiples, Backsolve, Capitalization of Earnings, and Backsolve Rollforward
Conduct financial research, including comparable public company searches, comparable M&A transaction searches, and other research using CapitalIQ, BVR DealStats, IBISWorld, ktMINE, and RoyaltyStat databases
Excel in M&A transactions, SBA Loans, Gift and/or Estate Tax, 409A Valuations, ASC 718/IFRS 2 Analyses, and other assigned transactions
Update template models and research guidelines for firm wide use
Perform intercompany and licensing agreements review and analysis. Perform economic literature research and review of country-specific tax and transfer pricing regulations
Mentor and train junior resources. Oversee engagement teams and provide highly technical reviews
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
5 years of experience conducting financial/valuation analysis
Experience in business, security, and asset valuation for Trust & Estate Planning
Experience in business, security, and asset valuation for pricing stock options to comply with IRC 409A
Experience in business, security, and asset valuation for banks underwriting acquisition loans
Experience in Discounted Cash Flow analysis
Experience in Comparable Public Company Valuation Analysis
Experience in Comparable Merger & Acquisition Transaction Valuation Analysis
Experience in Option Pricing Valuation Analysis
Experience in Financial Statement Analysis
Experience in Asset-based/Cost-to-Recreate Valuation Analysis
Experience in Monte Carlo Simulation Analysis
Experience in First Chicago Method/Venture Capital Valuation Analysis
Experience in Accretion/Dilution Analysis
Experience in Leverage Buy-out Valuation Analysis
Experience in Financial Modeling/Forecasting
Experience in client project management
Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) designation by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA)
