Rural King is America’s Farm and Home Store, providing essentials to the communities they serve. They are seeking a Social Content Creator responsible for creating engaging content for various social media platforms, ensuring alignment with the brand's voice and values.

Responsibilities

Create original, engaging social media content including videos, images, and captions

Film and capture content on location, in-store, at events, and during brand activations

Edit high-quality video content optimized for each platform

Compile and effectively communicate results

Translate campaign goals into compelling visual storytelling

Develop shot lists prior to filming

Ensure content aligns with brand voice and creative standards

Stay up to date on social media trends and tools

Adapt trends authentically for the Rural King audience

Partner with the Social Media Manager and Social Media Coordinator to execute content initiatives and strategy

Coordinate with store managers and partners for filming and permissions

Post work for review and support asset organization

Publish content according to established content calendars

Apply performance insights to improve future content

Required

At least 2+ years of experience creating social content

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field. Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered

Experience with DSLR cameras

Strong verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills

Excellent customer service skills

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Capcut, or similar tools

Experience filming and editing short-form video

Demonstrated ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and multi-task

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Demonstrated behaviors must reflect integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality

Ability to maintain a seated or standing position for extended durations

Capability to lift 15 pounds periodically

Able to navigate and access all facilities

Skill to effectively communicate verbally with others, both in-person and via electronic devices
