Responsibilities

Support Repairs Manager with day-to-day responsibilities

Plan and schedule all Repair Department services including machine and hand sewing repairs, shaving, and repairs inspections. Make sure supplies are stocked for all repair processes. Manage and maintain button inventory

Maintain an associate-centered workplace through floor time, associate engagement, and an open-door policy

Coach, mentor, and develop team, training when needed

Ensure Inbound Repair Racks are organized to reduce garment aging

Oversee the daily operation (which may include monitoring inspectors, machine sewers, hand sewers, and shavers)

Clearly define daily and weekly objectives for the repair department. Champion successes and address areas of opportunity

Track, report, and explain department metrics

Identify, champion, and implement process improvements

Forecast staffing requirements based on established repairs and backlog; adjust as the business warrants

Ensure that budgeted service levels are met (or exceeded)
