College Financial Representative

As a College Financial Representative, you will meet with clients to assess their needs and provide recommendations for insurance and investment products while gaining real-world experience and mentorship.
Responsibilities
Reach out to potential clients
Gain sufficient understanding of products and services offered by Northwestern Mutual and how they clients achieve financial goals
Attend client meetings
Communicate effectively with senior advisors for planning and preparation
Prepare or assist in preparing comprehensive, holistic financial plans
Attend weekly development meetings with assigned College Unit Director
Participate in training, development, and coaching – expand on your knowledge of our comprehensive approach to financial planning and cultivate your professional development skills
Qualification
Required
Ability to work on own initiative and independently
Commitment to providing a first-class client experience
Knowing how to connect with people and easily build trusted relationships
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
Preferred
Current full-time student (junior/senior status preferred)
Connected to the Cincinnati/Dayton area
Experience in a professional work environment
Managing multiple priorities between school, work, or extra-curricular activities
Experience in Sales/Entrepreneurial work
Involvement in campus organizations/community organizations
Demonstrating leadership skills
