Automation Movers International is a full-service mechanical integration company specializing in the installation and movement of production and automation equipment. The Designer is responsible for material handling rack designs, including new designs, revisions, and ensuring quality designs per customer requirements.

Responsibilities

Attend internal reviews

Review and interpret Job Line-up sheets

Create 3D Models

Create drawings from 3D models

Revise provided drawings when necessary

Design per Customers Standards and Specifications

Ensure all Builds and Non-conformances are updated on drawings

Create change information for estimating

Fills out or reviews control line-up forms per designated project

Ensures designs are cost effective

Understand and follow safety & environmental regulations and identify safety/ environmental concerns

Adhere to the Quality System and participates in continuous improvement

Qualification

NX experience3D modelingTechnical drawingMathematical conceptsTeam player

Required

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations

Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry

Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables

Work as a team player with other departments
