Responsibilities

Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to lead activities to plan, design, develop and verify complex lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions

Leads others to evaluate customer/operational needs to define system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces

Leads analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture

Leads analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success

Leads, develops, maintains and identifies improvements the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes

Required

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science

10+ years of systems engineering and architecture experience

Proven experience leading system architecture for multi-domain systems or system-of-systems proposals

Strong hands-on experience with requirements development and management, interface control, trade studies, models, and MBSE practices and tools

Experience preparing and reviewing technical proposal volumes and supporting capture activities

Demonstrated ability to translate customer needs and RFP requirements into feasible, cost-conscious architectures and programmatic strategies

Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills; ability to brief senior leadership and customers

Strong leadership, decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration skills

Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship

An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required

Preferred

Experience with defense, aerospace, or other regulated industries and familiarity with DFARS/FAR and relevant security/classification handling

Proficiency with MBSE tools (e.g., Cameo/Capella/No Magic), DOORS/Polarion/Jama, SysML, UML, and modelling/simulation tools

Background in systems engineering processes such as INCOSE, ISO 15288, or MIL standards

Experience with systems engineering for software-intensive systems, cloud-enabled missions, PNT, avionics, C2, ISR, or communications systems

Active Secret security clearance
