Post-Bar Law Clerk
D.Law is a fast-growing law firm specializing in employment law, seeking to fill a full-time Post-Bar Law Clerk position in its Los Angeles office. The role involves assisting attorneys with wage and hour Class/PAGA actions and single-plaintiff employment lawsuits, requiring strong legal research and drafting skills.

Responsibilities
Assist attorneys in handling wage and hour Class/PAGA actions and/or single-plaintiff employment lawsuits from inception through conclusion
Conduct legal research and analysis
Draft legal documents such as motions, pleadings, and briefs
Prepare attorneys for court hearings and trials
Assist in client meetings and consultation
Manage caseloads and ensure deadlines are met
Collaborate with attorneys on complex legal matters
Maintain a high level of professionalism and ethical standards
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school
Experience in plaintiff or defense side employment law, wage & hour, and Class/PAGA actions and/or single-plaintiff is a plus
Superior oral advocacy skills, experience, and confidence
Great analytical and critical thinking skills
Attention to detail
Honesty
Dependability
Ability to follow instructions and/or work independently
Very computer savvy
Fluent in English (spoken & written)
Preferred
Experience in plaintiff or defense side employment law, wage & hour, and Class/PAGA actions and/or single-plaintiff is a plus
Spanish is a plus
Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, Apple Operating System, Clio, and other Litigation software
