Responsibilities
Partnering with our most valuable customers to design cloud architectures utilizing AWS services
Helping our customers solve business challenges such as rapidly releasing products/services to the market or building an elastic, scalable, cost optimized application
Engaging with product owners to influence product direction and help our customers tap into new markets by utilizing AWS Services
Looking for patterns and trends that can be broadly applied across an industry segment or a set of customers that can help accelerate innovation
Driving revenue growth across a specific customer
Helping organizations understand and implement advanced cloud-based solutions, and how to migrate and scale existing workloads in the cloud
Shaping and executing a strategy to build knowledge and broad use of AWS
Interacting, communicating and partnering with other teams within AWS such as services teams, marketing, and professional services, as well as representing your team to executive management
Qualification
Required
8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
5+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
Working knowledge of cloud technologies
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field of study or 12+ years of related work experience
Preferred
7+ years design & implementation experience with large distributed applications
5+ years of experience in core disciplines (E.g. compute, networking, storage, security, database architecture)
Professional experience architecting, operating cloud-based solutions
AWS Solution Architecture certification or relevant cloud expertise
Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT Management, and developers
Experience in technology/software sales or pre-sales consulting
