Sewer Conveyance Technician II

Responsibilities

Inspects and repairs sewer line breaks
Test lines for infiltration and inflow
Locates and inspects manholes
Cleans sewer lines
Performs routine maintenance and repair of sewer line vehicles and equipment
Responds to service calls and checks sewer lines for blockage
Operates a pipe saw, chain saw, air hammer (etc.)
Prepares written documentation of work performed and material used
Performs other duties as assigned or requested by supervisors

Qualification

Sewer line maintenanceClass B CDLOccupational safety knowledgePhysical enduranceManual labor

Required

High School diploma or equivalent
Two years of experience
Some knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions involved in the maintenance and repair of sewer lines
Physical strength and endurance to perform manual labor for extended periods, possibly under adverse weather or working conditions
Valid Georgia Driver's License with a Class B CDL and a clean driving record
