Responsibilities

Provide support to our teams on critical projects
Perform tasks under supervision of Geotechnical Group staff
Utilize well-defined company standards and procedures
Check work in progress and upon completion
Perform a variety of duties including inspections of exploratory and construction related activity
Conduct subsurface investigation and laboratory testing programs
Take field notes
Draft construction plans
Provide construction phase services (as-built drawing and RFI review, meeting minutes)
Perform calculations
Assist in organizing reports and packaging submissions
Work on both office-based and field-based assignments

Required

Must be currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering major at an accredited university and be at least a rising Junior
Applicants should have completed at least one course in geotechnical engineering or demonstrate a strong interest in the field
Working knowledge of soil mechanics theory and laboratory testing techniques
Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship, now or in the future

Preferred

Candidates pursuing Master's degree programs in geotechnical engineering are also encouraged to apply
