Responsibilities
Design, develop, and optimize ETL processes using IBM DataStage for data extraction, transformation, and loading
Create and maintain logical and physical database models; ensure data integrity and performance optimization
Participate in Agile ceremonies and deliver incremental value in a fast-paced environment
Work with multiple data sources and integrate them into enterprise data warehouses
Optimize ETL jobs and database queries for scalability and efficiency
Maintain technical documentation for ETL processes, data flows, and database schemas
Partner with business analysts, data architects, and QA teams to ensure requirements are met and solutions are tested thoroughly
Diagnose and resolve issues in ETL workflows and data pipelines
Qualification
Required
8 years of experience with IBM DataStage (parallel and server jobs)
Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server)
Proficiency in database design principles (normalization, indexing, partitioning)
Hands-on experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban)
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)
Preferred
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling
Experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting ETL jobs
Ability to work independently and mentor junior developers
