Responsibilities

Serves as an IT Specialist (SYSANALYSIS) within the Directorate of Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (C41) Systems, Joint Interagency Task Force South (JIATFS), Truman Annex, Key West, FL

Conduct information assurance activities on information systems such as application of security patches

Provide technical expertise on system operations, hardware, and a wide variety of applications and programs

Perform system administration duties on a large network of computers with wide area network access

Install application software for maintenance of system configuration files

Required

Identifying information technology security risks and vulnerabilities to prevent and defend against unauthorized access to systems, networks, and/or data

Applying standards, policies, and security procedures to information systems including risk assessment testing; application of security patches; and/or preparing reports of documented findings

Performing system administration duties on a large network of computers with wide area network access such as installing application software for maintenance of system configuration files and applying integration of long-term information systems projects

Utilizing, installing, and implementing computer application software for maintenance of system configuration files to include implementing computer diagnostic techniques and/or performance measurement tools, network monitoring software, and network addressing and configuration software

Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attention to detail

Customer Service - Works with clients and customers to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations

Oral Communication - Expresses information to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information

Must be a U.S. Citizen

Must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter

Must obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance Level with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access as a condition of employment
