They are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support their accounting operations on a contract basis, with the opportunity to transition into a permanent role.

Responsibilities
Perform bank and credit card reconciliations accurately and timely
Support monthly close processes, including journal entries and account analysis
Assist with project-based accounting, including cost tracking and allocation
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities as needed
Work within QuickBooks and ConnectWise to ensure accurate financial records
Assist with process improvements and documentation as needed
Collaborate closely with finance leadership and cross-functional teams
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
Minimum 2 years of accounting experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, or similar)
Experience with project-based accounting
Prior experience with bank reconciliations and monthly close
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
CPA candidate strongly preferred
Experience with ConnectWise strongly preferred
