The Senior Civil Designer I will support the Land Development Team by producing high-quality construction documents and managing complex land development projects with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

Prepare Final Land Development plan sets
Prepare NPDES permit plan sets, including stormwater management and erosion and sediment control
Perform grading design using Civil 3D grading tools and functionality
Develop layout, grading, utility, utility profiles, roadway profiles, and cross sections
Perform earthwork analyses and prepare exhibits demonstrating cut/fill balancing
Prepare technical exhibits in support of design and permitting
Prepare subdivision plans under the guidance of Project Managers and Licensed Surveyors
Utilize surfaces and point groups in Civil 3D to support grading and design development
Perform quality control reviews, incorporate redlines, and complete plan revisions
Maintain and apply company and Client CAD standards, templates, and details
Collaborate using Microsoft Teams and participate in virtual design meetings
Conduct occasional field visits, inspections, and data collection with Engineers

Required

Associate degree or Technical degree in CAD, Civil Drafting, or a related field
10+ years of civil engineering CAD experience, specifically in land development
Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, including surfaces, corridors, profiles, and grading
Demonstrated experience producing land development and NPDES permit plan sets
Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines while working with limited supervision
