Conducting field surveys and investigations

Developing permitting/compliance documents
Managing some project-related tasks
Supporting other projects within the department
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Demonstrated experience with field-oriented investigations and managing field crews
Ability to identify on sight Great Basin flora
Excellent communication skills
Ability to navigate physically in various environments including those with exposure to extreme temperatures and rough terrain
Preferred
Advanced degree strongly preferred
Experience in the Western United States strongly preferred
Working knowledge of relevant biological/botanical permitting processes also preferred
