Responsibilities
Provide excellent customer service while screening telephone calls and walk-ins, answering general questions, and providing assistance with filling out documents before referring to more technical staff
Answers general questions and provides assistance with filling out forms
Processes employee identification cards and inputs information into Transtech Identification System
Types, distributes, and logs all Non-custody Probation Reports and Individual Development Plans
Prepares folders for new employees and transfers
Files pertinent documents in current or former employee Official Personnel File
Provide assistance and backup to all clerical staff assigned to Personnel
Keeps reception area fully stocked of all personnel forms
Many other duties as required and assigned
Qualification
Required
Ability to type at a minimum speed as designated on the Class Specifications
Possession of a valid typing certificate confirming your ability to meet the minimum typing speed, prior to being hired
Good verbal and written communication skills
Possess good interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
Ability to promote a positive working environment and relationship with others
Willingness to create and promote an equitable and inclusive workplace where diversity is celebrated and valued
