Responsibilities
Have a strong understanding of Government Contracting
Have an in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with ASC 606, Revenue Recognition, and accurately apply the standard to all customer projects
Have Deltek Costpoint Experience with emphasis on Projects, Revenue, and Billings
Understanding of indirect rates
Own the entire project life cycle accounting from initial set up to contract close out
Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, contracts, and program management to support growth and ensure financial accuracy
Maintain, monitor, and reconcile Bookings and Backlog
Support year end audit effort
Support overall accounting and finance functions as needed
Drive automation and system improvements to enhance efficiency and reporting
Be a trusted advisor to the team
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including significant experience with ASC 606
Overall strong technical accounting knowledge
Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication ability
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work independently
Have a strong understanding of Government Contracting
