Trade Compliance Coordinator

Hussmann Corporation is a global leader in commercial refrigeration equipment, and they are seeking a Trade Compliance Coordinator. Responsibilities

Maintain daily ACH Statements and tariff refund requests
Support Trade Compliance internal foundational activities such as HTS, COO, AD/CVD, and other OGA through data compilation, analysis, auditing, and reporting to ensure internal processes/procedures are being kept current. Import/export risk reduction
Import and Export Transaction Auditing (broker). Import/export risk reduction
Review, update and document compliance processes and procedures that drive regulation excellence and supports the improvement in data accuracy and ensure compliance and cost containment
Participate with USMCA/COO Solicitation and daily requirements
Participate with maintaining the Compliance Mailbox
Develop and maintain KPI’s and metrics
Ensure compliance with import and export regulations to support trade compliance activities
Support manager thru data compilation, analysis, and reports that support Hussmann Compliance objectives around planning, developing, and implementing Global Customs compliance for reporting to leadership and Panasonic
Support and assist in import and export record retention program according to global requirements
Collaborate with internal and external teams as needed to include valuation, country of origin determination, documentation review and auditing of import and export shipments
Assist with the preparation of Compliance training documents and participate in training cross functional groups, as needed

Required

0-2 years of experience in trade compliance and/or brokerage with a degree
3-5 years relevant experience without a degree
Ability to learn multiple computer /MRP Systems
Strong skills with Microsoft excel, access database, etc
Strong ability to document information relative to the processes and background for decisions made - excellent record detail and retention
Experience dealing with Customs operations and the complexities of the supply chain
Broad background in the HTS and Customs operations
Ability to communicate complex information to all levels of the organization

Preferred

US Customs Broker license preferred but not required
