Quality Resident Engineer - Automotive Liaison

Vertex Sigma Software is seeking a Quality Resident Engineer - Automotive Liaison to establish a key point of contact between our engineering and manufacturing teams and our clients in the automotive sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality and reliability through effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders throughout the development and production stages.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary liaison between the client and internal teams, facilitating clear communication regarding quality requirements and expectations
Evaluate production processes and quality plans to ensure they meet customer specifications and quality standards
Conduct on-site quality assessments and inspections, providing real-time feedback and guidance to manufacturing teams
Assist in the resolution of quality issues, employing root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies
Collaborate with engineering and design teams to identify, analyze, and mitigate potential quality risks throughout the product lifecycle
Support client visits and audits, providing necessary documentation and reports regarding quality performance
Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with ISO and other industry standards
Generate and present quality performance metrics to stakeholders, proposing improvements as needed
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency
