Responsibilities

Serve as action officer for a specified region of responsibility, maintaining awareness of issues related to cyberspace security, strategy, policy, doctrine, plans, force development, and capabilities; report in writing significant developments to Command leadership and DOD/Interagency partners

Draft decision memos, briefing papers, and other papers on these topics in preparation for interagency and international meetings. Conduct senior leader briefings

Organize and participate in engagement activities that further DOD goals and objectives with international partners as directed

Collaborate with Directorates and outside stakeholders to develop international partnerships and policy recommendations

Research and recommend polity changes to further DOD cyberspace international engagements

Provide training, outreach, technical assistance, and general program support to stakeholders to synchronize DOD cyberspace international security cooperation activities in support of cyber operations

Coordinate and make recommendations to government leadership on international partnerships process changes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness as well as on new product/service offerings to enhance support to Command international partnerships

Required

10 years of experience with building and sustaining international or domestic partner relationships

Experience with defense security cooperation concepts, procedures, and execution, as conducted by Combatant Commands

Experience with supporting Defense operations, strategy, policy analysis, or planning with Service, Joint, non-defense organizations, or foreign nations

Experience with strategic or operational partnerships supporting military service elements, Joint Commands, Defense agencies, non-defense organizations, or foreign nations

Experience with working in military service or Joint staff, including supporting senior military personnel and civilians

Knowledge of military processes, methodologies, and orders

TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

BA or BS degree

Preferred

Experience in working with US Embassy country teams, theater combatant commanders, and foreign partners to establish and maintain relationships supportive of DoD objectives

Experience with working across Defense and interagency partners to inform and support policy analysis decisions

Experience with working in a major headquarters staff level

Experience with the Defense strategy for operating in Cyberspace, the Quadrennial Defense Review QDR, the National Disclosure Policy NDP, and Global Force Management GFM

Experience with drafting decision memos, briefing papers, and other papers on international affairs topics in preparation for international and interagency meetings, including briefing senior leaders

MA or MS degree
