We’re seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative/Buyer in Training, where you will learn to assess, purchase, and manage scrap metal inventory while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities
Unloading metals and electronics from customer vehicles
Assist with purchasing scrap metal from customers
Learn how to evaluate the quality and value of various metals through hands on work in our General Public drop off area
Help maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory
Provide excellent customer service and lead team in customer satisfaction initiatives
Communicate with customers to educate on what we accept and what items we may recycle for the customer
Qualification
Required
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework in business, logistics, or a related field is a plus
Prior knowledge and/or strong interest in learning about scrap metal and the recycling industry
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks
Basic math skills and computer proficiency
A positive attitude and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Prior experience in sales and negotiations
