The Massachusetts Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development is seeking candidates for a full-time, temporary faculty position in Media and Communication. The role involves undergraduate teaching duties in public relations, multimedia storytelling, and maintaining an active research agenda.

Responsibilities
Candidates are required to perform duties in accordance with the MSCA contract
Duties include teaching, advising, and contributions to continuously improve the department and university
The standard teaching load is 12 credit hours per semester
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in Media/Communication Studies or related fields
Experience in and a commitment to teaching in a multicultural environment with students from a variety of backgrounds and learning styles
Experience in interdisciplinary teaching and/or research collaborations
Experience with teaching, supervision, and advising
Preferred
PhD degree in Media/Communication Studies or related fields
Industry experience in public relations or similar fields
Record of research in one or more of the following areas: public relations, use and regulation of new electronic communication technologies, and interdisciplinary multimedia applications
Potential for excellence in community engagement and university service
