Responsibilities

Assisting with patient recruitment
Data collection
Imaging acquisition and analysis
Data analysis and management of clinical data
Be an active member of the study team
Work in tandem with research fellows, clinicians, and laboratory scientists
Assistance with manuscript preparation and presentation of study results

Required

Proficiency in using database software including Microsoft Office (Word, Access, Excel, and Power Point)
Experience performing research duties in a research environment
Experience with following a research protocol in order to carry-out study procedures and collect data
Ability to work with research team including preparing and responding to data queries
Proven ability to work with minimal direction and work collaboratively with the research team and investigators
Basic understanding of ophthalmic terminology and anatomy
Experience with slit lamp biomicroscopy and operating common ocular imaging devices
Experience working in a clinical setting with adult patients
HS graduation and sufficient experience and demonstrated skills to successfully perform the assigned duties and responsibilities
Bachelor of Science degree in a Human Biology or related science field
