System Administrator II

Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain server operating systems, network devices, and software applications. Ensure systems are up-to-date with security patches and firmware updates. Monitor system performance and resource utilization with a focus on availability and efficiency
Provide Tier II support for end-users, including troubleshooting stand-alone laptops, workstations, and peripheral devices. Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, escalating complex problems to senior personnel as appropriate
Implement and enforce cybersecurity policies aligned with IAT Level 2 standards. Manage access controls, maintain security baselines, and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and organizational standards
Conduct proactive monitoring to identify areas for optimization and risk mitigation. Generate and deliver reports detailing system health, incident response, and maintenance activities
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation on system configurations, standard operating procedures, troubleshooting guides, and change management activities
Work closely with cross-functional IT teams to support integration, upgrades, and project implementations. Provide training and guidance to junior staff or new hires as needed
Qualification
Required
Extensive experience in supporting Windows-based systems
Comprehensive understanding of Windows systems, including the operating system and various applications
Proficient in managing and administering a wide array of Windows-based applications and services
