Responsibilities
Execute advanced spectroscopy experiments, including Raman and FTIR/infrared spectroscopy, to support analytical and experimental research objectives
Perform analytical techniques, including HPLC, FTIR, LC‑MS, chromatography, mass spectrometry and other advanced analytical methods to support qualitative and quantitative characterization in research and development environments
Collaborate with cross functional teams on status updates of project
Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and regulatory use
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. (Doctor of Philosophy) in Analytical Chemistry or a closely related field (Biochemistry, Physical Chemistry, Chemistry, Chemical Biology, Materials Science, Environmental Chemistry, Forensic Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, etc.)
4+ years of strong post doc/academic experience with analytical methods such as GC/MS, Mass Spectrometry, LC-MS, FTIR, HPLC, Infrared Spectroscopy, Raman Spectroscopy
Understanding of biologics (GMP) manufacturing processes including mammalian cell culture, purification, scale up processes
Preferred
Experience in cell culture is highly preferred, not required
Experience with monoclonal antibodies and cell/gene therapies preferred
