Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation (OMRF) is a respected independent biomedical research institute focused on developing effective treatments for human diseases. The Pezza Lab is seeking a temporary Research Technician to perform routine laboratory procedures, accurately report results, and support ongoing research activities under supervision.

Responsibilities

Perform routine laboratory procedures following established protocols
Accurately record, analyze, and report experimental results
Follow general instructions for routine work and detailed instructions for new assignments
Work under regular supervision to ensure quality and compliance
Support the research team in achieving laboratory and project goals
Learn and apply new techniques and procedures as training is completed

Qualification

Biological sciences degreeLaboratory procedures knowledgeBasic computer skillsAttention to detailTeam player

Required

Bachelor's degree, typically in one of the biological sciences, and/or equivalent years of relevant laboratory experience
Basic knowledge of routine technical and functional laboratory procedures
Basic computer skills, including familiarity with internet software, order processing systems, and Microsoft Office
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work effectively as a team player

Preferred

Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos
Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations
Ability to apply common sense to carry out one- or two-step instructions
Ability to organize work and perform tasks with precision and accuracy, particularly when handling samples and chemicals
