Sr Manager Event Merchandising

Albertsons Companies is a leading food and drug retailer in the U.S. seeking a Sr. Manager of Event Merchandising to drive the vision and execution of seasonal and national digital campaigns. This strategic leader will oversee the end-to-end merchandising experience, ensuring seamless execution of customer-centric experiences that inspire and deliver revenue growth.

Responsibilities

Own the Digital Campaign Calendar: Develop and manage the fiscal campaign calendar and build detailed campaign specific workback schedules, ensuring timely execution and alignment across teams
Lead End-to-End Digital Merchandising Execution: Oversee the development of (30+) seasonal, holiday and national campaign development, including landing page strategy, mockup builds, briefing, QA, and ongoing maintenance
Utilize performance insights to refine strategies year-over-year, presenting recommendations that inform product curation and enhance customer experience
Build Annual Operating Plan: Defining annual campaign specific forecasts/goals (in partnership with analytic partners), build roadmap, align with product partners on product needs from discovery to launch
Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, visual merchandising, brand creative, product, and digital teams to deliver cohesive seasonal and holiday campaigns, support loyalty initiatives, and optimize digital solutions
Ensure Quality and Accuracy: Guide the team in performing rigorous QA on all merchandising experiences to confirm creative alignment with briefs and brand standards
Analyze and Optimize Performance: Monitor campaign analytics and KPIs to identify opportunities that improve conversion, revenue, and basket size, translating insights into actionable strategies
Advance Monetization Strategies: Collaborate with Albertsons Media Collective to develop monetization packages and create landing experiences that maximize revenue potential
Champion Personalization: Work closely with CRM and Personalization teams to design tailored campaign experiences for priority customer segments throughout the year
Lead and Develop Talent: Manage and mentor a team of two direct reports, fostering growth, accountability, and operational excellence
Oversee the lead of visual merchandising, responsible for crafting compelling storytelling across all facets of the app and web (including but not limited to – Homepage, Shop tab, Department Pages, Shops, & Seasonal Campaigns)
Oversee Sr. Content Coordinator responsible for managing the end-to-end production brief build, submission, and QA process for campaigns, in addition to leading homepage (and related) briefing and QA activities

Required

Bachelor's degree
7+ Years of experience working in the eCommerce industry
Desired background in Digital Marketing, eCommerce Marketing, eCommerce Merchandising, Graphic Design, Communications, Advertising, Media
Experience crafting campaign strategies that balance customer experience with business objectives, and has a solid understanding of e-commerce KPIs and ability to translate data into actionable insights
Ability to innovate and adapt strategies based on performance data and market trends
Proficiency in digital merchandising tools and QA processes
Demonstrated experience in page layout and user experience design
Proven creativity and documented immersion in digital or E-Commerce marketing and merchandising
Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
Skilled in cross-functional collaboration across marketing, creative, product, personalization, and technology teams
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred

Experience with personalization strategies and CRM integration
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Excel, PowerPoint, Word
Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
Knowledge in Photoshop and or Figma
Experience with Monday.com
