Responsibilities

Data entry of case details, from government issued case documents, into internal Xcelerate system
Processing daily mail received from nationwide field resources. Includes: sorting, organizing, scanning, and uploading directly into Xcelerate system
Uploading attachments, faxes, and any other required document from paper format to a digital Xcelerate system
Ensuring cases and case attachments are completed and entered into Xcelerate system in a timely manner and in accordance with Xcelerate standards
Assist in managing credentialed investigator population and ensure their files are up to date per government requirement
Provide aid to FI’s, Reviewers, and other program staff to ensure timeliness and thoroughness of investigations
Transmission of daily closed cases to our government customers
Pull case files to be destroyed per contractual requirements
Order supplies as needed for the PMO to ensure smooth operational processes

Required

Top Secret Security Clearance
Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience working with investigative principles, practices and procedures
Experience working with OPM/DCSA and OPM/DCSA-related policies for background investigations
Experience working with investigative case management systems
Organization skills to balance and prioritize work
Interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members
Communication skills
Analytical and problem solving skills
Personal computer and business solutions software skills
Ability to identify, understand and apply federal, state and local changes to and/or new regulations/laws pertaining to personnel investigations
Ability to work in a team environment
Discipline in time management and ability to multitask
Ability to synthesize information, identify key findings and determine conclusions
Strong writing skills and proficiency with PC and networked environments

Preferred

Bachelors degree in human resources, business administration, criminal justice, or related field preferred
One or more years experience in background investigations preferred
