Work directly with owners, CEOs, presidents, and CFOs to provide insurance solutions
Build relationships with clients and educate them on their insurance needs
Conduct cold calling, networking, and site visits to generate new business
Manage a North Carolina-wide territory and meet with business owners
Utilize technology for quoting, CRM, and other tools to enhance efficiency
Mentor colleagues and contribute to the agency's collaborative culture
Qualification
Required
Experience in B2B insurance or something closely related
Ability to build relationships
Experience with cold calling, networking, and site visits
Understanding of the rhythm of commercial insurance and long sales cycles
Ability to balance volume with discernment
Specialization in a specific area rather than being everything to everyone
Value deep-rooted relationships over quick wins
Ability to educate clients and help them make better decisions
