City and County of Honolulu is seeking to hire two Civil Engineer II positions in the Department of Facility Maintenance, Storm Water Quality Division. The role involves managing professional engineering projects related to storm water management and requires participation in various engineering tasks including planning, design, and GIS mapping.

Responsibilities
Professional engineering projects related to the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) Storm Water Management Program
Planning, design, construction management, product evaluation, research & development, system optimization, database management, and Geographical Information System (GIS) mapping
These positions may also involve participation in periodic and temporary cross training and supplementary work exercises and activities in support of other branches within the division to comply with its regulatory obligations of the City's storm water permit
Qualification
Required
At time of application, you must be a citizen, national or permanent resident alien of the United States or a non-citizen eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment
Equivalent to graduation from a regionally-accredited four-year college or university with a bachelor's degree in an engineering specialty
One (1) year of non-registered professional civil engineering experience
Possession of an appropriate valid driver's license (Type 3), as required
