Electrical Engineer, Sources Development
MOXTEK is focused on developing high voltage power supplies and controls for X-Ray tubes. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for component selection, evaluation, and integration into products, while also participating in testing and documentation processes.

Responsibilities
Work well in a design team environment
Research, select, and evaluate electrical components, tools, and equipment
Work with Development, Manufacturing, and Production resources on new and existing product designs
Test and evaluate prototype board assemblies
Plan, schedule, coordinate assigned activities and projects
Participate actively in FMEA activities
Document new build processes
Empirical testing and complete root cause analysis
Write Technical Reports
Train and handoff newly developed processes and procedures to Manufacturing and Production personnel
Mentor and train Technicians and Production personnel by overseeing handoffs of tools and new processes, explaining design details, and assisting in documentation/integration
Qualification
Required
Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering or 5 years of related experience
Work well in a design team environment
Research, select, and evaluate electrical components, tools, and equipment
Work with Development, Manufacturing, and Production resources on new and existing product designs
Test and evaluate prototype board assemblies
Plan, schedule, coordinate assigned activities and projects
Participate actively in FMEA activities
Document new build processes
Empirical testing and complete root cause analysis
Write Technical Reports

Practical knowledge of electrical components
Able to use schematics while trouble shooting a circuit
Analytical problem-solving
Analog/Digital circuit design and troubleshooting
Technical writing/communication
Familiarity with the Design and manufacture of PCBs
Familiarity with OrCad or other PCB designer/layout tools
Basic 3D modeling skills using Solidworks or equivalent
