NOC Analyst

They are looking for a confident and passionate NOC Analyst to join their team, responsible for monitoring client backups, troubleshooting alerts, and assisting with new client onboardings.

Responsibilities

Client Backup Checks. Review and verify the success of scheduled backups across multiple platforms and clients
Alerts Triage. Review and troubleshoot any automated alerts that generate from our systems on a daily basis
Service Tickets. Triage and troubleshoot tickets assigned to the team. Escalate to higher tier resources as needed
Disaster Recovery Tests. Deploy and document virtual environments for clients in the cloud, utilizing their backup solution to perform the tests
New Client Onboardings. Assist with new clients as they are onboarded into Acumen's systems
Manage the monitoring, management, and security tools and technologies that Acumen uses across our clients
Seek to improve monitoring capabilities with existing tools and finding new solutions
Track time and details on appropriate service tickets as work is performed
Client Communication
Supports our core values and commit to always improving

Maintain business efficiencies through detailed documentation, time keeping, communication, and an eye on the metrics

Required

Applicants should be located in or around the Nashville area for those days that we are in the office
Intermediate understanding of operating systems, business applications, printing systems, and network systems
Interpersonal skills: such as telephony skills, communication skills, active listening and customer-care
Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly
Technical awareness: ability to match resources to technical issues appropriately
Understanding of support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide services
Typing skills to ensure quick and accurate entry of service request details
Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast moving environment
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and be able to be on your feet for extended periods of time
