Wire Harness Technician

Responsibilities

Build harnesses; read and digest the schematic and work instructions then execute cutting stripping, crimping tasks
Execute connectorizations by way of adding harnesses to existing standalone hardware
Maintaining detailed documentation by way of marking steps completed, non-conformances discovered, potential assembly improvements
Execute testing of harnesses (DMM, automated tester)
Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to brainstorm and support overall manufacturing improvements
Uphold Quality standards

Required

High school diploma or GED equivalent
3+ years of experience working hands-on as a technician in the aerospace, automotive, or similar industries
Proficiency in wire crimping and harness assembly
Familiarity with precision tools
Excellent attention to detail
Climbing ladders, long durations of standing, grasping, sitting, pulling, and physical bending movements
Must be able to lift 25lbs, unassisted
This role requires to work onsite
US Citizenship or Green Card

Preferred

Experience reading technical drawings / schematics
IPC620 working knowledge or certification
Experience with testers (Cirris, Cable eye)
Experience in the aerospace industry
Advanced soldering skills
Cleanroom experience
