Responsibilities
Coordinate input from diverse groups—developers, QA, product, and enterprise architecture—to define project scope and deliverables
Establish and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets; track milestones and proactively adjust for any variances
Manage multiple technical workstreams, facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and backlog grooming in agile environments
Report project status, risks, and issues regularly to stakeholders and senior leadership—through dashboards, summary reports, and presentations
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, implementing effective contingency plans
Translate technical requirements into actionable tasks and communicate dependencies and impacts across stakeholders at all levels
Facilitate technical design sessions and ensure final deliverables meet quality and performance criteria
Mentor and guide junior project leads, sharing best practices in agile methodologies and project management
Qualification
Required
5+ years of technical project management experience in software development or IT environments
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban), and release processes
Excellent verbal and written communication skills—capable of delivering clear, concise updates and reports to both technical teams and executive audiences
Proven ability to coordinate between multiple groups, manage dependencies, and ensure collaborative execution across teams
Highly organized, with demonstrated aptitude for managing schedules, budgets, and documentation
Skilled in tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, or other PM software
Certifications like PMP, CSM, or equivalent are a strong plus
