Uncle Arnie's is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join their finance team. This position plays a key role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial operations by supporting day-to-day accounting activities and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger

Prepare and assist in financial statements, tax returns, and accounting documents

Reconcile accounts (bank, balance sheet, subledgers) to ensure accuracy

Ensure compliance with GAAP and federal/state regulations

Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to aid management decisions

Prepare financial reports for internal and external stakeholders

Assist with audits by providing documentation and preparing schedules

Monitor budgets and identify cost‑saving opportunities

Safeguard financial data and support internal controls

Track pending orders and send customers invoices upon delivery

Support AP process by accurately entering in bills

Assist Controller with ad hoc tasks as necessary
