The California Department of Social Services is dedicated to serving and supporting Californians in need. They are seeking an Analyst I to work as a Call Center Agent, responsible for analytical work related to the State's hearing process and assisting claimants with their requests.

Responsibilities

Responsible for varied analytical work related to the State's hearing process for a wide variety of programs, such as Medi-Cal, Cal-Fresh, Covered California, In-Home Support Services, etc

Works directly with claimants and authorized representatives (ARs) to file oral hearing requests via Virtual Contact Center (VCC)

Responsible for accurate data entry into the Appeal Case Management System (ACMS) and processing of incoming and outgoing calls

Receiving telephone calls from claimants or authorized representatives, initiating verbal hearing requests via ACMS, and referring customers to the appropriate county or responsible agencies, and will include access to various information systems that contain protected claimant information
