Sr. Financial Analyst

The Senior Financial Analyst supports the bank’s corporate, institutional, and personal trust businesses by managing and analyzing complex balance sheet and fee income activities while providing insightful reporting to guide strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

Oversee deposits including customer funds, overdrafts, and uninvested cash
Analyze system flows that drive balance fluctuations and identify sources of variance
Act as a liaison with Treasury and Consolidated Reporting teams to ensure accurate, timely communication of balance sheet activities
Oversee fee income processes such as receivables, accruals, and deferrals
Prepare and present variance analysis comparing actuals to forecasts, highlighting key drivers and trends
Trace data sources and document system interactions to ensure data integrity and transparency
Summarize complex data into clear, actionable insights for management and stakeholders
Identify and drive process improvements including automation and standardization of reporting tools

Required

Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
Typically five or more years of related experience

Preferred

Expertise in analyzing actuals versus forecasts
Proficiency in consuming and integrating large volumes of data into meaningful formats
Skill in tracing data sources and understanding system integrations
Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial systems. Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate, SQL, Copilot skills preferred
Strong communication skills with ability to collaborate across departments
High attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
CPA or Master's degree preferred
