Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain network security solutions using Palo Alto Firewalls, Panorama, and GlobalProtect
Provide Tier III “Build and Run” support across multiple network and security environments, including troubleshooting and configuration changes
Recommend technology improvements and security enhancements to align with Zero Trust principles and agency requirements
Participate in system upgrades, deployments, and enhancements while ensuring compliance with security policies
Deliver clear, concise technical documentation and communications to stakeholders
Support after-hours maintenance and critical infrastructure upgrades as needed
Qualification
Required
7+ years of technical experience in Network/Security Engineering
Strong expertise with Palo Alto Firewalls (3200 and 5200/5400/5600 series), Panorama 9.x+, and GlobalProtect
Proficiency in advanced security features such as Threat Protection, URL filtering, TLS decryption, PKI, and PCAP analysis
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience
Preferred
Desired certifications: CCNP, CCDP, CCSP, CISSP, OSCP, PCNSE, PCNSA, ITIL
Experience with Palo Alto Prisma Access and Zero Trust Network Access solutions
