4+ years expFoot Locker is seeking a Sr. Analyst to support the Foot Locker Data & Analytics team’s efforts in building foundational data products, providing advanced decision support and analysis to the entire retail operation, and aiding in the development of AI-powered tools & resources. This role will have exposure up and down the development cycle, from conceptualization to release and will work closely with developers, product owners, and leadership at every level.

Responsibilities
Become a key figure of the Retail Intelligence team by being a driver to insights and decision support. Partner with technical and business leaders in the concept, refinement, development, testing, and deployment of enterprise data products
Be a trusted advisor in the room. Able to connect the dots on complex data problems in easy to digest ways. Be a catalyst to collaboration, a facilitator, and a true owner of the work being done
Mentor and provide guidance to junior analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning. Ability to lead a group of Data Analysts, Data Scientists, Data Engineers and BI Engineers
Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to ensure data infrastructure supports analytical needs
Communicate findings and strategic recommendations through reports and presentations at leadership levels
Conceptualize, build and operationalize data products per business needs and requirement
Research and troubleshoot problems & questions related to deployed analytical solutions
Maintain knowledge of the latest data technology and best practices
Maintain knowledge on the latest retail trends in industry
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Statistics, Analytics, Finance, Business, Engineering, or a related field
4+ years of relevant experience in data analytics, a stronger preference given to experience in the retail sector
Advanced proficiency in SQL, Excel and Power BI
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights
Ability to perform statistical analysis of A/B/N tests
Must be able to think both creatively and critically
Excellent verbal & written communication with both technical and business teams
Excellent stakeholder management skills
Must be highly motivated and be able to work both independently and in a team environment
Learner mindset
Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities
Knowledge of retail concepts, and ability to understand and work with retail data
Preferred
Experience with AI tools/methodologies, such as prompt engineering, generative AI, NLP, and AI model training a big plus
Python and Scala are a plus
