Senior Superintendent
Raise Consulting is seeking a Senior Superintendent to manage all field operations on multifamily construction projects. This role involves ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality standards while coordinating with various teams to deliver high-performing residential communities in the Los Angeles region.
Construction
Responsibilities
Direct and supervise all on‑site construction activities from groundbreaking through turnover
Develop and maintain the project’s short‑interval (3‑week) look‑ahead schedule; coordinate sequencing with subcontractors and the project manager
Ensure all work complies with contract documents, building codes, and Los Angeles jurisdictional requirements
Conduct daily site walks to monitor progress, quality, safety, and manpower levels
Lead daily subcontractor coordination meetings and weekly foreman meetings
Enforce the project‑specific safety plan and ensure compliance with Cal/OSHA regulations
Identify hazards proactively and implement corrective actions immediately
Maintain a clean, organized, and secure jobsite
Review plans, shop drawings, and submittals to ensure field installation aligns with design intent
Manage inspections with city officials, third‑party consultants, and special inspectors
Serve as the primary on‑site contact for subcontractors, inspectors, and field personnel
Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to align field operations with schedule, budget, and contract requirements
Provide daily reports, photos, and updates documenting progress and issues
Supervise assistant superintendents, field engineers, laborers, and trade partners
Qualification
Required
7–15+ years of field experience in commercial or multifamily construction, with at least 4 years as a superintendent
Proven track record delivering ground‑up multifamily projects (podium, wrap, Type I–V)
Strong understanding of structural systems, MEP coordination, waterproofing, and building envelope best practices
Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, and other construction management tools
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills
Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and technical documents
Strong knowledge of Los Angeles building codes, inspections, and permitting processes
Preferred
OSHA 30 certification preferred
