The Office of the NYS Comptroller is seeking a Public Information Assistant (Digital Content) to work in the Publications and Web Services Unit. The role involves creating, publishing, and managing digital content using web technologies and design software, while ensuring accessibility standards are met.

Qualification
Required
At least four (4) years of experience in public relations, social media, and digital communications
An Associate's degree in Communications, English, Public Relations, Social Media, Digital Communications, or similar degree can be substituted for two (2) years of general experience
A Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Public Relations, Social Media, Digital Communications, or similar degree can be substituted for four (4) years of general experience
Preferred
Familiarity with front-end web technologies including HTML and CSS
Strong editing skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
Knowledge of and experience with producing ADA compliant content
Knowledge of and experience working with content management systems
Ability to handle multiple and competing priorities
Continuous improvement mindset
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Knowledge and use of Microsoft Suite of products (e.g., Word, Excel, Teams)
Knowledge and use of Adobe products (e.g., InDesign, Acrobat, Premier)
Ability to think and work independently
