Aqua, an Essential Utilities company, is seeking an Engineering student for a co-op position to work on diverse engineering tasks. The role involves both fieldwork and office responsibilities, offering hands-on experience in engineering operations and maintenance.

Responsibilities

Assisting Manager of Mechanical/Electrical/Construction in conducting construction job progress meetings and inspections

Resolving construction, operating, & maintenance issues at various facilities

Performing design calculations

Conducting engineering consultant request for proposal process and construction contractor bid process

Assisting the Superintendent of Mechanical & Electrical in managing corrective & preventative maintenance work orders on the Company’s Maintenance Connection (MC) program

Performing data entry into the company’s MC program

Traveling to various production facilities to obtain specifications for equipment

Company vehicle will be provided for work purposes only

General administrative duties and record keeping
