Responsibilities
To assist the Quality Control Manager and Sanitation Supervisor in maintaining the Arcade facility in a clean, rodent and pest free state, while meeting or exceeding all standards of the FDA, USDA, NYS Ag. & Markets and all other regulatory certification and food industry agencies
Report any factors that may influence the quality and safety of the finished feed and ingredients to the immediate supervisor
Carry out daily cleaning and housekeeping assignments as per the Sanitation Supervisor and sanitation schedule in a safe, efficient manner
Fill in production positions when necessary
Other duties as assigned by Plant Management
Qualification
Required
Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements
Good communication skills
Understanding of feed manufacturing and willingness to learn and grow
Thorough understanding of cGMP's
Knowledge of HACCP Feed & Food Safety Plan
Knowledge of FSMA
Must be able to lift 55 lbs. to a height of 48 inches continually for the assigned period
Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
High school diploma or GED
