Hotel Sales Manager
Confidential company is seeking a Residential Hotel Sales Manager who will oversee daily hotel operations with a focus on driving revenue and sales growth. The role requires balancing commercial leadership with guest satisfaction and employee engagement while implementing effective sales strategies.

Responsibilities
Lead, execute, and support all sales initiatives to maximize occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and overall profitability
Partner closely with Revenue Management and Corporate Sales teams to identify market opportunities, optimize pricing strategies, and grow demand
Actively analyze market trends, competitor activity, and local demand generators to drive proactive, sales-focused strategies
Ensure the property consistently meets or exceeds revenue, sales, and profit goals
Champion a sales culture throughout the hotel, ensuring all departments support revenue growth
Provide the Revenue Management Department with detailed competitive market analysis, including weekday/weekend rates, segmentation, and local demand forecasts
Actively support and execute sales strategies as directed by Management and the Corporate Sales organization
Train front desk and operations teams on selling techniques, upselling strategies, and promotions to maximize property-level revenue
Identify and pursue local sales opportunities, extended stays, corporate accounts, and group demand where applicable
Contribute to the annual budget, forecasting revenue opportunities, labor needs, and operating expenses
Use business, sales, and demand forecasts to manage labor, control expenses, and protect margins
Adjust controllable expenses based on forecasted monthly revenue to support sales-driven growth
Analyze budget variances, implement corrective actions, and execute company purchasing policies
Lead teams to deliver exceptional guest service that drives repeat business, positive reviews, and revenue growth
Personally handle escalated guest concerns and resolve issues prior to departure whenever possible
Respond to guest feedback and complaints per company standards
Achieve and maintain strong Medallia guest satisfaction scores, implementing corrective actions as needed
Train and develop employees in alignment with HR programs and company guidelines
Coach staff to deliver exceptional service, handle guest concerns effectively, and actively support sales initiatives
Maintain strong employee engagement, acceptable turnover, and fair employment practices
Lead by example with professionalism, ethics, and adherence to company standards
Ensure the hotel’s physical condition meets quality standards to protect assets and support guest satisfaction
Oversee preventive maintenance and quick-fix programs
Achieve satisfactory Medallia product quality scores and address deficiencies promptly
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5 years as a Hotel General Manager or comparable role
Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
Strong analytical, financial, and communication skills
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods; light lifting may be required
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Flexible schedule, including varied hours and days
Valid driver's license required
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management or Business preferred (or equivalent experience)
Proven success in sales leadership, revenue growth, and market-driven decision-making strongly preferred
