Responsibilities

Advise the State Treasurer, the Department of Finance, the State Controller, and other state departments and financing agencies on high-profile bond, finance, and other fiscal matters

Negotiate, draft, edit, and review financing documents in complex, multiparty transactions

Prepare and communicate advice through memoranda, opinion letters, and emails

Represent clients at authority, board, commission, and committee meetings

Draft and review public-finance-related legislation

Provide legal advice to other Department of Justice units, especially on the topics of procurement, contracts, and related transactional matters
