Regulatory Affairs Manager

They are seeking a Regulatory Affairs Manager to prepare and coordinate registration projects for biocidal products in the U.S. and Canada, while collaborating with various teams and authorities on regulatory topics.

Responsibilities

Prepare, execute and coordinate Registration Projects in Canada and U.S. for biocidal products (EPA) - Environmental Protection Agency, (FIFRA) - Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act and Health Canada (PMRA) - Pesticide Management Regulatory Agency for the Material Protection Products (MPP) Business Unit
Communicate and collaborate with business teams, customers and authorities regarding regulatory topics
Interpret, evaluate and effectively communicate technical material and government regulations policies to LANXESS employees and customers
Coordinate with external laboratories to place studies and ensure services delivered for data required for regulatory purposes

Qualification

Regulatory knowledgeProject managementCommunication skillsBachelor's DegreeTechnical knowledge of FIFRATechnical knowledge of PMRAWorking knowledge of FDABiocides registration experience

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering or a closely related field
5 to 10 years experience in the regulatory field with technical knowledge of the current FIFRA and PMRA regulatory requirements, procedures and guidelines for registration of biocides by the U.S. EPA, state agencies and PMRA
Ability to work independently with good communication and project management skills
This is a HYBRID role with the expectation to be on-site in the Pittsburgh office at least three days per week every week

Preferred

Master's Degree
Working knowledge of FDA and Canadian FDA specific to indirect food contact clearances for biocides
